Christopher Guetti joined Flink Smith as an associate in February, 2005. Before joining Flink Smith, Chris worked with an attorney who had a dedicated personal injury and family law practice. At that firm, Chris was given the opportunity to assume considerable responsibility for the firm’s matters, including the firm’s appellate practice in those practice areas.
Chris is a proud graduate of La Salle Institute, a military preparatory school in Troy, New York. Christopher also graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology, and Albany Law School of Union University. While in law school, Chris completed internships with the NYS Department of Health’s Medicaid Fraud Division and Attorney General’s Health Care Bureau, and also worked with the New York State Bar Association in the publications and CLE units, and with a small law firm as a law clerk. Chris is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
As an associate with Flink Smith, Chris has expanded his practice, becoming involved with the various legal matters presented by the firm’s clients, in particular, insurance defense, real estate and Vehicle and Traffic and criminal defense matters. Chris continues to represent persons who have sustained personal injuries and has also become involved in the firm’s active matrimonial and family practice. Chris’s practice also includes toxic tort matters, for both defendants and persons who have been exposed to such substances, including lead and chemicals.
Chris is currently a member of the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
